NEW YORK -- Outfielder Ryan Braun is expected to speak at a banquet in New York, where he will accept his National League MVP award.
Braun will give an acceptance speech but sources say he will not do any media interviews.
Braun has not made any public appearances since news leaked of his positive test for a banned substance in December.
Braun is facing a 50-game suspension if the initial finding is upheld. He is appealing the ruling and his arbitration hearing is expected to be near the end of the month.
