Harris hits two game-winning FTs against the Celtics
For a week of the NBA’s Summer League in Las Vegas, Tobias Harris and John Henson carried a Bucks offense.  In their final outing of the week, help arrived â€" but Harris and Henson still starred.
Henson finished with 16 points on 8-for-9 shooting in 21 minutes. Â He looked equally comfortable with both 19-foot right-handed jump shots and left-handed hook shots from the low post. Â On a fast break attempt, he also showed gentle touch on a left layup finish.
In 21 minutes of action, Tobias Harris scored 18 points, grabbed three rebounds, and blocked two shots.
The reason the Bucks blew out the Bulls, though, is that they got help up and down the roster â€" especially from starting point guard Aaron Miles.  As terrible as Miles was in the first two games, he completely reversed course in this contest.  He tossed around 13 assists in 18 minutes and helped maintain a high-octane offensive flow that the Bucks will look to carry over into the regular season.  Surprisingly, Miles finished in the top-five in the Summer League assist standings, with 5.8 per game.
Speaking of Vegas accolades, Tobias Harris and John Henson were both named to the Summer League All-Star Team.  Harris finished fourth in scoring with 20.8 points per game.  Henson currently sits third (and rising) on the NBA.com’s rookie ladder.
Notes: Carlos Delfino may have driven up his free agent price tag with a strong showing in Argentina’s Olympic tuneup versus the United States.  And he is not happy with the Bucks, especially John Hammond.  In an interview with HoopsHype, he faulted the Bucks’ GM for failing to maintain a connection with Delfino through his injury and through his free agency:
“I expected to have at least a conversation [with Milwaukee],†Delfino told HoopsHype. “I ended up aggravating my injury because I wanted to play with the Bucks. It hurts me a little bit that they have not even reached out to me. That’s life, things happen. I learned from the experience. Coach Scott [Skiles] and the owner [Herb Kohl] have been very good to me. The rest… I expected a little bit more. Sometimes you expect not to be rewarded, but to be recognized for your effort, playing through injury and doing things for the group… When that doesn’t happen, I don’t say that I feel betrayed, but I feel overlooked. Even though it’s a business, I think the general manager should have maintained the personal relationship and put value on other things aside from a contract. As a veteran player, I thought it was always good to play no matter what [despite the injuries] and so far it has only played to my disadvantage.â€
The Bucks have not contacted Delfino about a new agreement, but Phoenix, Chicago, Boston, Atlanta and Indiana have all been mentioned as potential suitors.
