Flynn is Offensive Player of the Week

GREEN BAY - A record-breaking performance has earned Packers backup quarterback Matt Flynn the NFC Offensive Player of the Week award.

Flynn went 31 of 44 passing for 480 yards, six touchdowns and one interception against the Detroit Lions on Sunday.  He finished with a 136.4 passer rating in the Packer 45-41 win.  Flynn also set franchise records for most yards and passing touchdowns in a single game.  This if Flynn's first player of the week award.

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers has won NFC Offensive Player of the Week three times this season.  Green Bay kicker Mason Crosby has won NFC Special Teams Player of the Week twice, while punter Tim Masthay has won that award once this season.
