Milwaukee Brewers honor Del Crandall, Hank Aaron - La Crosse Tribune

MILWAUKEE â€" The Brewers and the Milwaukee Braves Historical Association have given Del Crandall and Hank Aaron a special honor at Miller Park.

The former Braves were inducted into the Braves Honor Roll on Thursday.

Crandall played 16 seasons in the major leagues, including 11 years with the Milwaukee Braves from 1953-63. He later returned as manager of the Brewers from 1972-75.

Aaron began his major league career with the Milwaukee Braves in 1954 and also played for the Atlanta Braves and Milwaukee Brewers. He still holds records for RBIs, extra-base hits and total bases.

There are now 11 members in the Milwaukee Braves Wall of Honor, including Warren Spahn, Bob Uecker and Frank Torre.
