Milwaukee Brewers - PlayerWatch - WDBJ7

RHP Brandon Kintzler has made three scoreless appearances, each of one inning, on a rehab assignment with high Class A Brevard County. Kintzler had a screw inserted in his forearm near the elbow last July to address a stress fracture, and he opened this season on the disabled list due to right shoulder inflammation.

RF Corey Hart has lived up to his reputation as a streaky hitter. After getting off to a strong start, he went cold. Hart has one hit in his last 20 at-bats and no RBI over 11 games.

SS Cesar Izturis, who has taken over for injured SS Alex Gonzalez, hit his first home run Tuesday night since July 10, 2010, for Baltimore against Cliff Lee, then with Texas.

RHP Kameron Loe is unscored upon in 11 of his 13 relief appearances. He has turned in seven consecutive scoreless outings while holding opponents to a .150 batting average (3-for-20) over that span.

3B Aramis Ramirez, who began the season in a deep offensive funk, has picked up his run-production pace. Over his last six games, Ramirez has driven in seven runs.

2B Rickie Weeks has not been able to get going despite being dropped from the leadoff spot to No. 2 by manager Ron Roenicke. By going 0-for-4 Tuesday night, Weeks saw his average drop to .168.

1B Travis Ishikawa figures to get most of the playing time in place of injured 1B Mat Gamel (torn ACL) because of his defensive prowess. That was on display in the second inning Tuesday when Ishikawa made a catch while tumbling into the stands on a foul pop from Cincinnati LF Ryan Ludwick. However, Ishikawa went 0-for-4, dropping his average to .200.
