The game was delayed at the top of the second while medical personnel tried to revive him, but he died at a hospital. Adcock was grounds crew lead and had worked there for 33 years.

The Brewers won 2-1.

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner noted Adcock likely died of natural causes but they are still investigating the cause.

In a statement, Bob Quinn, the team's executive vice president for finance and administration, said Adcock developed many friendships with the uniformed staff and he will be missed.

Last fall, head groundskeeper Gary Vanden Berg died after a long battle with cancer.
