GREEN BAY - Two free throws for Keifer Sykes with three seconds on the clock put the Phoenix men ahead for good, and snapped a four-game losing streak. Green Bay topped Wright State 57-56, overcoming a 17-point second half deficit in the process.
Sophomore center Alec Brown set a team, conference and Resch Center record with 11 blocked shots. Sophomore Kam Cerroni provided a spark with 11 points, all in the second half.
The Phoenix improve their record to 7-10, 3-4 in Horizon League play. Green Bay returns to action at Cleveland State on Friday at 7pm.
